Changes around us

Sometimes back, I visited the photo shop and saw this photograph of Orchard Road say maybe 20 years ago.

During then, Wisma Atria was not built yet. The plot of land was Indonesia Embassy (if not wrong). The photographer told us that the pix was taken from the Carpark of Liat Tower. There weren't many tall buildings and you could see Shaw @ Beach Road.

Now......... you can't see that FAR anymore. This prompt me to take pictures of Marina IR. I am going to do this once every month. See Marina from nothing to................ Commercialization.

2009 Resolution - DONE

As mentioned earlier, my Resolution for 2009 is to take up a new course.

I FINALLY DID IT!!!!!

I have signed up for the Diploma in Business & HR Resource Mgmt with SHRI. Course statring in March 2009 and end in September 2010. 18 months dedicated to STUDY.

Hope I can be disciplinde and finish my course.

Evian Facial Spray

I purchased the Evian facial spray and use it in the office as the air here is really drying me up.

My understanding of this product is that it will tone, refresh and moisturize my skin. Spray it on and feel the cooling sensation as the millions of tiny micro-droplets are absorbed and instantly go to work to moisturize and refresh.

It does work as it mentioned and I feel refreshed everytime after I sprayed it on.

I have purchased a 400ml bottle and it costs me S$9.30. I don't usually see such a big bottle at the local pharmacies. Usually, only the 50ml & 150ml are on the shelf. FYI, the 150ml is sold at ~ S$10 at the local pharmacies. Unless you need a travel size to put in your bag, I suggest you get the 400ml.

Diana F+ 2nd roll

This roll really got me confused.

I dun recall putting any mask and set it in Pano mode but when the photos developed, everything seem not so"right".

Looking at these photos, it doesn't give me the pano feel yet there is a lot of over-lapping.

If I stitch up # 10 & # 11, it will look pano lor.

Think I need a lot of practise and also must figure out the view finder......

Not so ez-link card

The ez-link replacement exercise started TODAY.

I went about 11:00am to the TransitLink Office located at Raffles Place MRT Station and the queue was really miserable.

Only one counter open and there was a staff informing people in the queue that it would take 45 mins before they are being served.

To me, this is so ridiculous. Wouldn't it be better if more counters are open on the 1st day of exchange and especially at those MRT stations with heavy human traffic flow?

Overheard the conversation of those queuing;
Uncle: They are trying to discourage people from exchanging & why is the SMRT staff kept telling people that it would take 45mins and ask us to go to Bus interchange or Post Office to get the ez-link card changed. Everywhere is the same.

Aunty: Wow!!! This is so Singapore. Everything also must queue.

Fisheye Effect

This has been there all the while but I never really take notice of it, 'Harmony'.

There we are, playing with our fisheye lens, fisheye camera and here we have something Fisheye effect naturally.

Take alook around your surrounding, you should be able to find the fisheye effect everywhere.

Hello 2009!!!!

Another new year has come.

Looking back, what have I done in 2008? Can't quite remember as almost everyday passed very quickly. Or......... my memory has run short. lol
